Editor’s Note: April 20 is a popular time for marijuana-enthusiasts to take the day off from work and toke up. We feel that the log for April 20 illustrates just how dangerous marijuana truly is, especially when compared with alternatives such as alcohol.

10:18 a.m. – Caller on SE 10th Street complained about a dog.

4:34 p.m. – Caller on SE 2nd Street reported a disturbance.

4:59 p.m. – Caller on SW Hailey Ave. requested telephone contact regarding a motorcycle that kept speeding through the school zone.

6:45 p.m. – Caller on NW 6th Street reported fraud.

6:48 p.m. – Caller on NW 15th Street reported harassment.

7:24 p.m. – Walmart on SW Court Ave. reported shoplifters.

9:45 p.m. – Pendleton Police cited and released a driver for driving under the influence of alcohol on SW Frazier Ave.

9:49 p.m. – Caller on NW 10th Street reported noise in the area.

10:04 p.m. – Walmart on SW Court Ave. reported shoplifting in progress.

11:14 p.m. – Caller on S Main Street reported an intoxicated male knocking on the door.
