Today will be mostly cloudy. Cooler. Numerous showers in the morning, then scattered showers in the afternoon. A slight chance of thunderstorms late in the afternoon. Some thunderstorms may produce small hail late in the afternoon. Highs 53° to 58°. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 70 percent. Tonight will be partly cloudy. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms early in the evening. A slight chance of showers overnight. Some thunderstorms may produce small hail early in the evening. Lows 38° to 43°. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 20 percent. Tomorrow will be mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of showers. Highs 55° to 60°. An upper level trough off the Pacific Northwest coast will continue to impact the region over the next 24 hours. The cold front is slowly moving across far eastern Oregon and Washington producing a light steady rain. this will continue to move eastward but impact the far eastern zones through the day. The western zones are seeing a break this morning with some mostly sunny skies. However, the cool unstable air associated with the upper level low will increase the instability brought on by the heat of the day. The result will be increasing showers through the day with a slight chance of some thunderstorms. These showers will last into the evening and then decrease fore some areas. Temperatures will continue to be cooler than normal.
