Two Arrested by BENT in Milton-Freewater

Milton-Freewater, Ore. – Adan Nieves Torres and Carlos Razo Cisneros were arrested May 31, 2017 after the Blue Mountain Enforcement Narcotics Team assisted with a consent search and served two drug related search warrants in Milton Freewater.

In a press release dated June 2, Pendleton Police Chief Stuart Roberts said that BENT detectives assisted by the Oregon State Police stopped a red pickup driven by Torres, who consented to a search of the vehicle. The pickup is registered to Torres Family Landscaping LLC out of Lakewood, Washington.

After the search of Torres’ vehicle, BENT detectives served a search warrant on Torres’ residence in Milton-Freewater and arrested Torres. Torres possessed substantial quantities of illicit drugs at the time of his arrest including 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 4.3 pounds of heroin, 5.6 pounds of cocaine, and $26,166 US currency.

Torres is lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. Torres is charged with counts of unlawful delivery and possession of methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine. Bail has been set at $4,040,000.

BENT served a search warrant at another residence in Milton-Freewater and arrested Razo. Razo was attempting to destroy drugs in his possession when he was arrested. Razo possessed over 16 grams of methamphetamine, scales, packing material, and a concealed handgun at the time of his arrest.

Razo is lodged at the Umatilla County Jail. Razo is charged with counts of unlawful possession and delivery of methamphetamine and a count of tampering with physical evidence. Bail has been set at $105,000.

BENT is multi-jurisdictional drug task force comprised of detectives from the Pendleton Police Department, Hermiston Police Department, Boardman Police Department, Umatilla Tribal Police Department, Milton-Freewater Police Department, Oregon State Police, and Morrow County Sheriff’s Office.
