Pendleton, Ore. – A camera drone delighted revelers at the Pendleton Whisky Music Fest Friday Night Kickoff Party on July 14, 2017. Drone pilot Kyle Lewis says that he is being paid by Pendleton Whisky Music Fest to shoot video this weekend.
Lewis flies a 3DR Solo. According to his biography on the ProDrenalin website Lewis is a 2007 graduate from the University of Oregon who takes drone video both for fun and as a professional photographer in the real-estate sector.
ProDrenalin is a software product that is used for image stabilization and to remove the trademark “fisheye” from GoPro and other action camera video.
Lewis has six batteries for his drone and says that this gives him approximately one and a half hours of video. He will be flying his drone during the Whisky Fest concert and the video taken will be used by the Whisky Fest for promotional purposes.
There was no word on when this video will be released to the public.
