PENDLETON, Ore. – Moonlight Events and Jake Sierra Music put on a concert at the Pendleton Convention Center on August 31, 2017. The lineup consisted of Jake Sierra Music and DJ DropKid with special guests and headliner Dizzy Wright.

Local producer Jake Sierra stated in an interview that the concert was the first local show in two years for Pendleton-based Jake Sierra Music and that 500 tickets had been sold. Members of Jake Sierra Music were busy selling tickets before the doors opened at 7 p.m.

There was grumbling from the lines outside when security staff told those waiting to get in that baseball caps were not allowed inside. Alcohol use, vaporizer use and smoking was prohibited and numerous attendees were escorted from the venue after security staff observed marijuana being smoked during the concert. At one point Sierra stopped the show and told members of the audience that smoking of any kind was against the rules and to “put that [expletive] out!”

Sierra then led the other performers in a medley of marijuana-themed songs.
