Public Safety Log – Jan 18, 2017

7:38 a.m. – Caller reported that an alarm was going off at Heritage Station Museum. This was determined to be a false alarm.

7:59 a.m. – Caller reported that vehicles were sliding down the hill on NE Mt. Hebron Drive. Caller also reported that a pickup almost slid off the hill and was still partially off the roadway.

8:01 a.m. – Caller reported that someone hit their van on SW Overlook Street.

8:07 a.m. – Caller reported that their vehicle slid off NW 12th Street and was parked on the side of the road.

9:30 a.m. – Caller reported an accident on SE 6th Street. Caller stated that a car slid out of a driveway and hit another vehicle, ending up in the middle of the road.

10:30 a.m. – Police arrested Kirsten Nicole Goodwin at 401 NW Bailey Ave for felony probation violation.

11:13 a.m. – Police arrested Cory Michael Klein at Homestead Youth Lodge after receiving a call advising that a 19 year-old male was out of control.

11:31 a.m. – Caller reported that they sold a PlayStation 3 to a friend “a couple” of months ago for $100, but the friend never paid.

11:39 a.m. – Caller complained that their neighbor on SW 1st Street was yelling and had been doing so since 6:00 a.m.

12:10 p.m. – Caller reported that at 8:30 a.m. their car was hit by another car on NW 12th Street and that the other driver would not provide any information.

1:10 p.m. – The manager of the Pendleton Square Apartments reported that a large office-type copier was found near the dumpster.

1:17 p.m. – Caller reported that a cat was on the ledge of the building at 327 SW 2nd Street. The caller reported that the cat had been there all morning and that it was likely stuck.

1:47 p.m. – Caller reported that they heard shots being fired to the north on Murietta Road but did not see anything. Officers were unable to locate the alleged shooter.

2:14 p.m. – Caller reported that a female walked by Mautz & O’Hanlon on SE Byers Ave and screamed before climbing over the levee.

2:38 p.m. – Caller reported that a person was trespassing and causing a disturbance at Hometown Cleaners on SW Emigrant Ave.

6:11 p.m. – Caller reported that their vehicle slid into an unoccupied vehicle on SW Goodwin Lane.

7:18 p.m. – Caller reported that they were a victim of a hit-and-run on S Main Place.

8:22 p.m. – Caller reported a male in a white car slouched over the steering wheel in front of Sister’s Cafe on S Main Street.

8:28 p.m. – Caller reported a silver sedan parked in front of their house on SW Goodwin Ave with a white female who kept going in and out. Caller thought it might be drug-related.

10:27 p.m. – Caller reported a domestic disturbance on S Main Street and advised that there may be a child inside.

10:34 p.m. – Caller reported that a male fell and possibly broke his leg 50 yards below the Mountain View Apartments on NW Carden Ave.
